Mountain Park Academy goes above and beyond to provide your children with an academic foundation that will set them aside from the rest – Prepare for elementary school. We start basic writing and phonics work with our children in our young explores group and continue to build as we go through the Early Learner 3’s, Jump Start Pre-K and our Private Pre-K programs.
Our objective in the private Pre-k program is to educate on the following:
- Master up to 200 sight words
- Learn about syllables
- Learn about punctuation
- Practice Writing daily and maintain a journal
- Basic Addition/Subtraction
- Conduction Science experiments to learn cause and effect concepts
- Arts / Crafts for creative expression
- Show and Tell each Friday to develop speech and build self-esteem and confidence
